Hi I’m hoping someone can assist my dilemma. I have IMac 5k late 2015 i7 4.0ghz. I own the focusrite Clarett 4pre thunderbolt audio interface and intend to add an SSD thunderbolt drive (Transcend easyJet 500 1tb drive) as I own a lot of sample libraries for Kontakt, Spectrasonics etc. But both peripherals only have a single thunderbolt port, meaning they would need to be at the end of the chain. Any one know how I can get around this?

Or use a USB3 external SSD. I use two backups, one Thunderbolt and one USB with identical Kingston SSDs and have found SuperDuper backs them up at almost identical speeds to within one second. I believe speeds are limited to the 8Gbps PCI-e Blade Drive.
