The Hackntosh route is starting to interest me a lot lately. Good work! So, does everything work under ML and or Lion? Personally, snow leopard does everything I need.

Support will be better with ML giving you hd4000, thunderbolt, and geforce 600 cards. Pretty simple to setup but it'd probably be best to wait for tonymac buyer guide for ivy bridge builds. Should be out in the next week or so. only thing that doesnt work with thunderbolt is it doesn't show up as a thunderbolt device (but still works) and isn't hot swappable. the z77x-up5 th board is probably the best board for ivy hackintosh if you want thunderbolt.

When I retired this spring I converted my i72600K to Hack running SL. Then I migrated it to Lion without problem. I have never had KPs and all my USB and USB 3 ports work just fine.

But now the better half and planning to do lots of photography trips. So we abandoning our i7 desktops for Retina MBPs. They will be our new desktops...whenever we are home.
