That's indeed correct.

Any of the WD TB products are a great fit with the nMP if you need a couple of new drives anyway. Mine works as you'd expect...

- It's very quiet, I only notice it when the heads are chattering
- It shuts off automatically when the Mac sleeps and wakes with it.
- It will spin down and be absolutely dead silent if you enable the option under Energy Saver preferences to put hard disks to sleep when possible. Similarly, it will run continuously if you don't check this option.

- It's fast 350MB/s+
