Thunderbolt ports does not work anymore after upgrade (iMac 21,5)

I upgraded the ram + SSD from my iMac 21,5 2017. Now the thunderbolt ports does not work anymore. I did this with two similar models and both devices show this issue.

Anyone advise?

Well, there's always the risk of "breaking something" inside when you "do it yourself"... (sigh)

I don't think Apple will help you now -- having opened the case and voided the warranty...
