Hi, everyone,

Does anyone have any tips/tricks or know of a third-party gadget that can help "tighten" the thunderbolt connectors on the new Mac Pro?

Mine has 3 Thunderbolt displays attached, along with a couple of Thunderbolt drives, and the slightest touch wiggles the connectors, causing all sorts of glitches, like the warning about unplugging a drive, and having one of my displays go black.

I've looked around for a "lock" that could be installed over the Mac Pro chassis to keep the plugs from moving and coming loose, but no luck so far.

Thanks.

I use a small pair of pliers to gently squeeze the connectors before I plug them in. They are all tight, and I have had none fall out, nor have I ruined any. Obviously I'm squeezing the dongle, not sticking pliers or any other tool near my mac pro.

Great idea.
