I have an emac, and today upgraded to Tiger. Once it had loaded, I discovered that my modem, Thompson Speedtouch 330, didn't work in Tiger. I phoned my ISP, and they said it wasn't yet compatiable, and suggested I downgraded back to Panther. Which I have spent all afternoon doing. I'm not a happy customer!

Has anyone got this type of modem to work on Tiger? Is there a work around?

In your head.
Shouldn't they provide a modem that works over an ethernet cable?
The Speed Touch 330 is USB, and all I can think to do is reinstall the drivers. If you had a normal router you would need a modem with an ethernet cable. See if they can provide one.

Try this page for OSX drivers and upgrades. If you have to reinstall Panther, it can't hurt to try these drivers and upgrades to see if they get you rolling.

Contact SpeedTouch here. Let them know and send a letter to your ISP stateing that you might go with another ISP that works with your computer and OS.

There are way too many modems out there.
