Ok so Mail.app was acting a little weird and I quit out of it. When I re-opened it, it looked like it had reset itself. All my emails from my gmail account were gone. I thought this was strange as I have not messed around with the settings for awhile now. So I was pretty pissed off about that (yes I can still access via gmail.com but why did they leave?) So then I thought ill just restart and see if that works. Well I restart and log back in and now it seems that Tiger has reset itself. I have the standard blue background now. My dock doesnt magnify. Aduim has no recollection of my 2 screen names I use and the duck is back to the regular green duck. Mail still doesnt have my gmail messages. My menu meter is gone, synergy is gone (the apps are still there but they always appear when I log on). The folders in finder are just your standard typical blue folders (no music note for the music folder, no picture for the picture folder, etc). The appearance is set back to blue instead of gray like how i had it. The dock is back (I had that program where you can have a clear dock and there wont be that bar behind it.) It seems as though Tiger has reset itself but left all my apps where they were. It pisses me off because a) i have no emails and b) I have to go through and correct everything. I mean it when nothing is how it was all the settings are defualt!

So inconclusion:
1. Has the happened to others?
2. Why did it happen?

CN: Tiger seems to have reset itself but left all the apps behind. Nothing is how I had it.\

Edit #1: Now over 1500 of my songs are missing from my iTunes. What the hell happened to my computer?!?!

Looks like your preference (plist) files got messed up. Maybe you renamed the whole preference folder or something. Search for "adium" in spotlight or any other app and see if you find the old plists.

Well I got 1659 songs back from the 3000 I had. I got all my emails back. Everything is starting to look better but I still dont know why it happened.

*Sigh* This happened to me too your some of you Music and documents are gone all applications have reset themselves I know what you did but I don't know how to fix it. You most likely renamed your "Home" folder without formatting it.
