I have an iMac running Tiger and i want to upgrade to Snow Leopard, i know you can just buy the leopard to snow leopard upgrade for about £30, but i believe that it won't update properly (correct me if I am wrong). Is the £30 upgrade the best route for me?

I also have a macbook and a macbook pro both running Snow leopard, and i'm buggered if i'm going to buy a full install for the iMac.

Any advice gratefully received.

Thanks

Mike

You can even use the retail disk to install to an empty drive, no upgrade necessary.

There are no separate upgrade or full install disks like in the past. Every $30 snow leopard DVD is the full version.
