time capsule - restore specific apps only?

i just did a time capsule of all my apps i have installed on SL, and looking to upgrade to ML.

my question is i dont want to do a full store off the SL image as i want a clean install, but dont want to redownload all my apps again.

can i just drag apps from the app folder in the time capsule into the app folder of ml? will this properly install the apps?

also for paid apps with serial code, will i need to reenter the codes back in?



also i remember when apps had problems going from SL to lion due to some changes, is this problem present again from lion to ml?

im doing a lot of audio and dont wanna install ml if that will be the case

Then why not just upgrade?

because i dont want to do a full restore like i mentioned.. i only want to do some of the apps


i found the answer anyways. it is possible.
