Have had a search around for this and cant seem to get it to work.

Basically in the menu bar at the top it the date/time format is: Sat 12:12

I would like the menu bar to display: Sat 07 January 12:12 instead.

Is there anyway to do this?

I've seen the options in international settings but this didn't alter the menu bar.

Any help would be much appreciated

For Tiger, there are some settings in Date & Time, under Clock that may interest you. I can't work out how to get the date displayed though, which is weird because I remember being able to do it in Panther. :)

i like being able to know the day/date, but it just takes up too much room... I mean its nice to see it, but I can just hover my mouse over it and find out if I really need to
