I just requested a cancelation and partial refund for my MobileMe account. I'm currently moving data over to iCloud. For anybody who has gone this route and cancelled their subscription, how long did it take for your MobileMe account to become inactive? The guy from Apple support said "immediately", but that would appear to be false since my account is still up and running.

Have you cancelled it already? I thought you had to wait until iCloud is released and then cancel it.

That is to "upgrade" your MM account to iCloud. I'm canceling my MM subscription in order to receive a prorated refund. I don't think people will receive a refund when they upgrade this fall.
