Where does Iphoto store my pictures? Do I have to back all my pictures up separate from what Time Machine does? Or is there a way to go back through time machine and find my Iphoto library and get pictures back that way? I only ask this because I always back pictures up right as a upload them. But then when I edit them I usually forget to back those up.

time machine and iphoto

I would like to know how you do it because my iphoto past backups don't show with iphoto open but my normal time-machine screens show up no problem

Actually, Time Machine backups of iPhoto is available right through iPhoto itself. Just go to 'File' -> 'Browse Backups...' and Time Machine will open.

Is that what you were trying to do? As far as I know Time Machine will backup everything on your system hard drive unless you tell it not to. So those picture backups should be there.
