Time Machine backup Big Sur

If anyone is running in to a problem making a Big Sur TM back up, as I initially did, you may want to try this. It worked for me . Mine was stuck on Preparing Backup repeatedly ****Hmm wouldn't let me paste the link. Just do a google search "Fixed, Time Machine Stuck On Preparing Backup on Mac: Mac Big Sur/Catalina & Earlier". Good luck

mee too, except the first complete backup, the 2nd backup takes forever...

I keep getting an error when I try to do a Time Machine backup. However, if I go into the system settings to change the Time Machine destination (I just select the same drive I've been using), it basically does a fresh backup, as if it's the 1st time ever doing one. Then if I go to the menu bar to manually try to do another backup, I get the error again.

Prior to Big Sur, I had no issues at all. This Time Machine issue has been my only issue with Big Sur, so far.
