Time Machine Backup

hi there i have a 2TB HD i use for my Time Machine, and a 250GB HD for my films. i wanna know if i can use time machine to back up the "Film" HD or do i have to put them all onto my Imacs HD for it to back them up. If so can you help please, i have looked everywhere including MRoogle and still i find nothing :S thank you so so much.

You can leave them on the external drive. Open Time Machine preferences



and select options.

Remove the external drive from the exclusions.
