In Yosemite how do I turn on a Time Machine notification saying that I haven´t backed up for "x" days ?

I don't believe you have to do anything to turn that warning on, it just automatically pops up if you have not backed up in ten days.

Yep, I want it on. But it does´t show up after 10 days. Any ideas ?

Dunno. I use two drives that I rotate (one on, other offsite). Did not get a notice for 10 days, but got one yesterday for 14 days. So, maybe now waits a bit longer for notifying? Or in my case, my disks are on a two-week schedule, so, "smarter" now in that it noticed the cycle is off?

Just total speculation here.

I may be way off on this but if TM is on, doesn't it automatically back up every hour or so? With it on or off just click on the TM icon on the menu bar and it says last back Month/Day/Year.

I know in Mavericks it came up automatically every "x" days. Now I forget to backup and I hope nothing goes wrong in the meantime.
