Time Machine has not backed-up since El Capitan was installed two days ago. Appears to be perpetually stuck in "Preparing Back-up" mode. I back-up to two different remote disks on a local network: Drobo connected to another computer; USB disk connected to AirPort Extreme.

Hi BasicGreatGuy,
I read the link, but can you show me how to find the “Backups.backupd” folder. I looked everywhere and searched through finder but cannot locate this folder. Thanks.

By the way I use a Time Capsule for back up.

You mean if I clean co on Time Capsule through Finder? If I do that I then see the Sparsebundle file.

What do you mean by Time Capsule icon as I don't see it.. I can see Time Machine through System Preferences....

Please clarify. Thanks.
[doublepost=1476949012][/doublepost]And how do I find the Inprogress file through finder?

Please explain "clean co".
If you mount the Sparsebundle on your desktop you should find the "Backups.backupd" folder located in there.

By Time Capsule icon, I meant an icon similar to an Harddrive icon, only representing your time Capsule.
