If I get SLS running, can I specify different volumes / drives for different clients to use for their time machine backups?

Or do they all have to go to one place?

And can you limit amount of space used for individual computers so as to reserve more space for others? Or do you have to set up different partitions or drive areas to do this?

thank you.

Yes you can specify different drives for different people/Macs

You may make them as large or small as you like & you can also set the amount of space allocated to each user for backing up on one specific drive.
So if you would like to share that drive out; you can essentially split it up with different users without having to partition it.

pm me if you would like an instructional video on how to do this, I can set you up with a small package of videos that explain it all.

Sounds great. I bought my mini server tonight and hope to work with it tomorrow. First job is getting time machine up and running for multiple machines in the house, so will be looking at this first.

If I get stuck, I'd sure appreciate further help, but hate to ask more of you at this point - I'll get a crack at it tomorrow. Sounds like it has quite a bit of flexibility.
