Help! Yes, I still use an external drive on my Mac OS Catalina. Computer crashed, got spinning wheel of death and wiped it clean but when I went to external to get Time Machine backup it won't show. (Other externals do but not this one.) Tried the 8 other ways to make it show and doesn't work. Ran iBoysoft Data Recovery and it itemized my external (which IT found) to the tune of 100s of thousand docs. Anyone know a program that would just let me grab one day from Time Machine?
THANKS

I assume you mean you can't see the disk mount on the desktop. Attach your TM backup drive to your Mac and open Disk Utility. In Disk Utility, select View > Show All Devices. Post screen capture of Disk Utility. We'll see where it takes us...

Did try that too, thanks. It's odd because two others show, just not the one I need. Tried different ports, cords etc.
