Time Machine - When I enter, the TM window will only open on laptop screen.

Hi All,


Time Machine - When I enter, the TM window will only open on laptop screen.

This is a real pain, as my large external screen is infront of me, with the small 13" laptop screen way to the side.

Is there a setting somewhere to change this? I cannot work out any way to change this!

Martin,

There should be a way.

Can you try Apple Menu -> System Preferences -> Displays ?

Somewhere in those tabs there should be a selection that moves the output of TM to the monitor you want, such as Arrangement (move them left to right) or Mirroring.

EDIT: Be aware this may mean that other output will go to the wrong monitor, so it may need to be changed back after using TM.

Thinking about it, this is only happened since I updated the macOS to 14.7
