When I was running on Lion, I had the option of seeing the percent remaining for the battery or the time remaining for the battery. Since I upgraded to Mountain Lion, the time remaining option disappeared. Anyone else having this issue?
From the BATTERY LIFE FROM A CHARGE section of the following link:On the MBPR and on ML, the Menu Bar battery indicator no longer offers "Time Remaining" as an option on the Menu Bar. It still appears in the dropdown menu.
This should answer most, if not all, of your battery/charging questions:
- Your "time remaining" indication is an ever-changing estimate, based on the current workload of your system. It will fluctuate up and down from minute to minute as your power demands change. It is not perfectly accurate, but only an estimate.

The site says "Version 1.5 fully supports Snow Leopard." Have you tested with ML to make sure it's compatible? It's a good alternative, if it works with ML.They took that out in Mountain Lion. You can get it back with this app.

Did you tried this?
Enter these in Terminal, then log out, log in:
defaults write com.apple.menuextra.battery ShowPercent -string "NO"
defaults write com.apple.menuextra.battery ShowTime -string "YES"
Yes, but you're not able to have the time showing all the time, which is what people want.
Oh okay, I see now. Why would they take that out?

So they can put it slap it back in when 10.9 comes out and plaster it all over the 500 NEW FEATURES page on the Apple website.
