Hello, I just got my new 15" Powerbook and wanted to transfer all my mails since 1999 (about 5000 or more?), initially on Outlook xp, to mail. I took the way through netscape, everything worked out fine, but now my Powerbook works for about 12 hours to create the mail database. At least I think this is what it is doing right now.
It is fine to have a that intelligent mail program, and I am sure that it will be able to follow a lot of details with all my mailpartners, but i just want to work with my computer...
I found no information about that problem, so if anybody can tell me, something related to this (I would like to know what mail really does exactly)... would be very nice.
