TimeCapsule as second WiFi network w/out Internet

I’m getting AT&T Fiber installed and would prefer to use their router so if I have issues they can’t point to the TC. Most of my work backs up to the cloud so if I do a proper time machine backup once a week it wouldn’t be ideal but it would be acceptable.

Can I use my TC to create a separate WiFi network for wireless backups only? I’d log out of the ATT network and into TC periodically.

If the Time Capsule is behind another router then put the time capsule in Bridged Mode to turn of NAT! This will prevent the dreaded double NAT error!

No! The Time Capsule just won’t being in NAT (Network Address Translation) but can still be a Wi-Fi SSID!
