macOS Timed torrent script

Hello everyone,

I am a total noob at programming
I just want to know if this is possible

I keep my computer on all the time, and I have a torrent file that I want it to start downloading at a certain time and stop at other times, I am current using transmission

Is it possible to write a script, automator, whatever to do this?
Like I want the torrent to start downloading at 8 am and stop at 2 pm

can I do this? If so , how?

how do I do it?
should I just change the the scheduled speed limit to 0 until the time i want to start working again??
