I'm having an issue with my TM on my MBP. Backups start but either they stop while preparing or after approx 200 MB have been backed up. Old backups are accessible. I ran Diskutility First Aid , assigned more space, ...
I hope that someone more knowledgable than me can see what the problem is.

Target: Synology DS 214, LAN, AFP, 762/850 GB used, worked well for 2+ years

I'm pretty sure, that the problem lies with the local snapshot on the mac OS extend journaled host drive.
Question is why and how to resolve it!
