All iPads Timescale of when products appear in the refurbished store?

Is there a timescale or just an unknown. Looking to get the current iPad pro if it appears in refurbished. There were some good returns at John Lewis, but refurbished is better.

iPads and iPhones, seems like you usually have to wait until after the newer models are released.

I probably wont mind that. Might be a better option than the new Air.
