Did anyone else notice that after the upgrade to 10.2.8 that Mail no longer puts an actual timestamp on mail received for that day? It used to give you the time the email showed for the current day, but now it just shows as "today"..

anyone?

I've been having this problem for a couple months. Until today the problem alluded me and I just kind of put it aside and chose to not care. Well today I had an epiphany. I know how to fix it and it's so damn simple like all Mac problems it has been staring me in the face for the entire time.

If you look at the column for the date you will notice it does not have enough room for anything but the relative time (today, yesterday, etc.) by simply expanding the column you can have as much detail as you want.:D

Holy Guacamole!

I would have NEVER thought of that simple answer. Hell, the people at the Apple store didn't know that answer.

Thanks!

Hey, like I said it just came to me today. There are other Apple programs and parts of the OS that work in the same way.

Glad I could help.

P.S. IMHO the people at the Genius bars are over rated.
