I want a clean restore my 5.1.1 jb iphone 4s.
But my Tiny Umbrella - Set Hosts to Cydia on Exit is grey out. So how am I going to uncheck it?
I saw a lot people said uncheck the Set Hosts to Cydia on Exit.

I tried restore from iTunes directly I keep getting error 21. So I unable to do the clean restore.

Thanks in advance if anyone able to help.

I wonder if it's a privileges issue? If you are on Windows (can't tell since TU is java-based). If yes, then try running it as admin.

Now, all that option does is changing the hosts file, so you can follow Cydia owner's guide to manually change it.
Then after all is done and you're happy delete the redirection line you just put.

Error 21 means you are not in DFU mode

Put it in DFU and alt-restore(mac) or shift-restore(win) to your downloaded 5.1.1 ipsw

I'm getting a little further today but still no success. I'm now getting error (-1) and I think the last step before it gets to that is "verifying software with Apple". Any ideas?

*EDIT*

I'm now also stuck in recovery mode and can't even kick it out with TinyUmbrella. :-/
