Tip to fix lag

I was wondering why my "slide to unlock" was being extremely laggy today. Sometimes it had a lag of over two seconds, four at most. All the "slide to ___" were being laggy, and I was getting worried since I know it isn't normal. Turns out that all you have to do is power off your iPhone and turn it back on again. It was probably because I haven't shut my iPhone off in days So if your slide is being laggy, shut it off

I had that same problem, and that was my solution too. I assume that that just does a ram clear. With no way to actually close down programs like safari and maps, and the ipod only having a pause button, it's bound to get bogged down after a few days.

I had the exact same problem yesterday and as well, a soft reset/restart cleared all my troubles. It was probably because all my friends were playing around with every conceivable function on the thing.

Same here, simply turning the phone off and then back on fixed it.
