Tips on applying a screeen protector?

I have tried applying a screen protector to my iphone multiple times, but it is never put on 100% right. As i put it on, usually dust floats onto the screen, and gets caught under the screen. I heard somewhere about steaming up a bathroom, and then applying it, but what does that do, or are there more steps than just steaming up a room?

Its a good idea to go to a room that doesnt have alot of dust, hence the bathroom. ALso, dont do it around fans or ac vents. Use aloota solution to prevent finger prints and dust particles. Its better to make ur own solution and dip the skin in it and always keep your fingers wet. Time and patience is key.

Applying the protector in a steamed up room is supposed to be easier because the water in the air captures the dust particles and makes it less likely that the particles will find themselves on the screen. An alternative method is to apply the protector outside, where there is less dust in the air. Timing and patience is definitely the key here. Good luck!

Apparently you never have been in my bathroom or outside where I live. Dust everywhere.

Make sure you wash your hands really good, and keep them damp. don't wipe them off with a paper towel, instead use a clean dry soft cloth. like i said, keep them damp.

Then, clean the phone, and wash your hands again. Make sure you clean the phone under a really bright light so you can see EVERYTHING. Use the soft rag that came with the phone to clean the screen and whatnot, then use the plastic dirt remover that came with the screen protector (they almost all come with one).

Then, take the new screen protector, and barely peel back the bottom. Line it up perfectly, then apply just the bottom lip. Slowly peel back the rest a really small amount, and apply that, and keep going til it's all the way on.

Remember as you are applying it, to use your finger to also smooth out bubbles while you are applying it. If you're doing it right, you shouldnt have ANY bubbles at all, and it should go on fairly easily without difficulty.

I recommend using "power support" brand screen protectors, and buy an anti-glare one.... you can't go wrong with it.

Wear gloves (thin latex / plastic type). That's what I did, and no fingerprints at all.
