Hello again all :D

All tips accepted!

I’m talking about cleaning the nooks and crannies on the watch, where the lugs connect on the watch, and the buttons themselves, to stop them seizing up, and keep them operating smoothly.

Is there some cleaning spray that is safe on the watch material, that will dissolve and loosen up the crud, as opposed to elbow grease and scratching the surfaces? WD40 worked wonders on the motorbike. I shudder to think what it would do to the watch though, plus the smell off it, taking the watch to bed, yuck. Missus would love me.

Some ideas:

1) Can I carefully use these types of brushes to get to the inside of the apple Watch channels, where the straps go, to physically clean out the accumulated grime etc:

2) Can I soak the watch in a glass overnight, to try and loosen up hard gunk all pushed down the sides of the buttons etc. Then try to brush
them out, with the watch upside down to let gravity help.

Hope you can advise.

Cheers
Martin

Another idea:

3) Can I use whoosh? It’s working wonders on the iPad cleaning the screen, and has in the past loosened off some horrible hard stuck on spots et cetera

This is what I do!

Fine.

I’ll get that bloke to come around and clean the watch then! ........Kidding....! 😇 :D

The missus tells me that these things are called “Cotton buds” here in England.

Martin
