I need suggestions on how to clean or wipe off the lint on and around the camera lens without causing scratches to the lens. I used an ear cotton swab and just very lightly wiped it off but I'm afraid that this method will cause scratches.

Expecting some suggestions.

I also heard that using a microfiber cloth can do the trick but please post a link on where I can buy these and what brands are good as well.

I'd probably just take the case off, rinse that all off under a tap and then just use a cotton t-shirt.

As for microfibre cloths, anything will do. But they leave a bit of lint sometimes so you will need a blower as well to get that off. I use a Giottos Rocket Blower.

Anything made for photographic camera/lens cleaning maintenance should work fine.

Had some more lint on the lens but this time I lightly blew a little compressed air (not too hard) just a little tap of air over the lens and it looks better now.

I will try the cloth mentioned as well.

Or try a photographer's lens brush. These often come in kits with a squeeze-type manual blower, or a single integrated blower+brush unit.

I found it. This must be it. I'm ordering this.
Thanks.

The lens covers are sapphire (or a sapphire-glass blend, depending on who you ask). It should be very hard to scratch. You won't do it with a cloth, unless it has embedded diamonds.

I like these microfiber cloths, though there are plenty that are similar.
