Is it just me, or is it really annoying that so many app icons have 'HD' sloppily branded across them? It almost always looks like crap and seems completely pointless. There is no non-'HD' variant of these apps on the iPad. And the app store itself now separates iPad apps from iPhone apps, so there isn't really a need for it there either. So why don't they just make them look normal?

Wirelessly posted (Mozilla/5.0 (iPhone; U; CPU iPhone OS 4_0 like Mac OS X; en-us) AppleWebKit/532.9 (KHTML, like Gecko) Version/4.0.5 Mobile/8A293 Safari/6531.22.7)

I heard EA are planning HD apps for iPhone 4. I expect the same price point of the iPad apps. Trouble is with the iPad HD price points is that they are no longer impulse purchases. For £7 + I look at reviews and more often than not end up not buying that app.
