Hello! I’m Jason.

I loved Edge Browser’s sidebar but wished it worked everywhere, so I built my own—and I’m excited to share that SideTab is now live on the Mac App Store!

Ever get pulled out of your flow just to check email, chat, or a dashboard in another browser window?
That frustration drove me to build SideTab—a global sidebar for Mac you can open anywhere with a shortcut, no matter what you’re working on.

  • Pin your must-have web tools to a slim panel on the screen’s edge—email, docs, chat, dashboards, anything!
  • Instantly open/hide with a single shortcut
  • Every tool runs in its own session—separate work & personal logins, histories, drafts
  • Totally customizable and ultra-lightweight, so your Mac stays fast all day
AppStore : https://apps.apple.com/us/app/sidetab/id6754632132?mt=12

I launched SideTab at $9.99 on the Mac App Store, but I’ll send a redeem code to the first 10 commenters—just let me know how you’d use it, ask questions, or share feedback!

Sounds interesting. I would use it for research work, not having to leave my document to go to Safari to check a source would be nice.

Here is your redeem code ! Plz write your honest review on app store :)

I've seen the review of this and it looks great, I think I'd find it really useful. I searched out more information and found this post. I have 2 jobs, study and personal profiles and different browsers which are all hard to manage. This sounds ideal to allow me to quickly dip into one thing without losing too much focus on another.

Thank you. I read that:
Instead of opening yet another tab or browsing window in Safari, you can assign your Amazon and Instagram web bookmarks to Chrome. So, the next time you open these apps in the SideTab panel, they will run within a Chrome instance instead of Safari.
Can you assign bookmarks to different browsers and open each in a separate instance in SideTab and if so how?

Yes! Seems like something I need for work and all my research. Would really like to try this out. I typically have 30+ tabs open at one time.

Interested! Seems to speed up workflow! Definitely useful for both developers and designers.

No, that's not how SideTab works!

SideTab is not just a browser launcher for Chrome, Safari, or other browsers. Instead, it's a standalone side browser for Mac, built natively with AppKit. All bookmarks and web tools you open in SideTab run inside its own independent browser sessions — not inside an external browser.

Is it not Electron/Chromium?

Here is ur redeem code! Thank U!

Would be keen to give this a go. It's somewhat similar to Rectangle Pro's pin to the side, but looks more capable. I'd be interested if it can handle multiple apps moving to the side? I always have a notes window, along with a couple of other apps that I've swapping every few minutes.
