Titles below photos in Photos app disappears.

Hi there.

I have photos in the Photos App on my iMac. I have entered titles below the photos on many of them.

When I mail a photo from the Photos App to my dad he imports the photo into the Photos app and the title is gone. I thought the title was saved in the photo itself, in the IPTC "Object Name". Does the Title get scrubbed in the process of mailing it or whats happening?
