Tivo, iTunes, and Apple TV

I have a Tivo HD series 3, and my hope is to transfer my HDTV recordings into iTunes, and then watch them with my new Apple TV in another room. Is this possible to do over my home's network?

Yeah, you'll have to transcode it though.

Not a fast process though. It takes longer than the show length to transcode the show from the TiVo to your Mac.

It also doesn't work on shows if your content provider (FiOS, cable, etc) marks the show as "do not copy". I've never had that problem, but on the TiVo forum, it gets complained about a lot.
