On both my wife's 2g phone and my 2g phone, the data plan quits working every day or two until we re-enter the APN or change it to one of the other working APNs.

Is something wrong on Tmobile's end or does this have something to do with jailbreaking? It's persisted through restores and even from switching jailbreak methods.
 
Talked to tier3 support. Apparently the system kicks you off at midnight if there's a mismatch between apn, your device, and your data plan. My device was set to 'unknown' so it couldn't figure out whether I should be on that data plan or not.

What he did on his end was change my phone to a Tmobile Wing on his end and reset my network profile. What I did on my end is make sure my APN was set to epc.tmobile.com and rebooted my phone while he cleared my profile.

He said I could technically do all this myself by setting the correct apn, changing my phone to a Windows Mobile phone on tmobile.com, and just waiting a day or two.
