Tmobile plans

I am just curious how much you guys are paying for your tmobile plans with the iphone. A friend of mine wants to get an iphone, but I am looking for the cheapest plan for her. She would like 400 minutes, unlimited texts and internet of course. I might just get her text free, but I am curious to see how cheap it is for the plan/pay as you go.

Does not having 3g affect you much? And you have all other features right except visual voice mail?

Yep. Edge is fine, and perfectly useable for me. After all for everyone with the 2G iPhones they didn't have 3G either. It doesn't matter.

Wow, that's pretty good. I'm paying almost $70 for 450 Min (I never use more than 200) and 200 SMS (I use TextFree mostly, just for when I'm lazy or someone texts me). And this is AFTER my discount.

I do really like having 3G though. DC has a pretty fast 3G network and I've noticed that some places I don't get an edge signal but I do get one on 3G. Oh well, I guess It's good to know there are cheaper options.

18%. I work for an outsource company underneath verizon so we get discounts with every cell phone provider, and i get 20% off i think everything at the Apple store too. I definitely took advantage of that when getting my beautiful UMB.

I have the family plan with 4 lines. 3 cell phones and the @home voip router. 700 anytime minutes, unlimited texting, callertunes on one phone, and my iPhone has the t-zones $5.99 data plan. Edge at times is slow as hell and othertimes it is fine. No discount and is around $120 a month.

I thought I read that T-mo doesn't allow the t-zones plan anymore, and you have to go up to the 24.99+/mo plans?

You cant get it now but i had it before they changed all their plans so i get to keep it. If i ever get rid of it, i will never get it at $5.99 again.
