Hi there!

Sorry if this has been covered substantially already but I would like some advice from you nice people.

I have been out of the Mac camp for about a year now, having being an addict previous the last Mac I had was a first revision Macbook (not pro) with every possible defect that was being complained about it. After several weeks I got quite fed up and sold it.

However, after realising that I can't survive on a desktop alone I decided recently to buy a Macbook Pro, believing my experience with my old Macbook was pretty unlucky. However after reading some threads here with all the issues of the latest revision, I think could do some with genuine advice on whether this would be a good idea or another complete nightmare.. again.

All advice would really be appreciated.

Thanks guys

As has been said before, people are more likely to post about their problems than when they are happy. I have a Core Duo MacBook Pro and I've not had much trouble at all with it, I say buy the MacBook Pro.
