To DD5.1 on TV Shows

I'm wondering if you Handbrake users are keeping the 5.1 for TV shows? I do on my movie encodes, but I'm debating if it's worth it on TV Shows, especially for stuff like Galactica. If I Do the 5.1 my encodes are about 150k larger and I'm wondering if a normal surround AAC encode would suffice, how do my Fellow ATV users feel?
