Hi Everyone...took the plunge a year ago and bought a mac, and have been thrilled since day one. Now have an imac for our home computer, time machine, etc.
Took the plunge 2 days ago and bought an iphone. Well, sort of took the plunge, b/c I haven't ported the number from my blackberry yet, until I make sure that I can really sync mail/contacts/calendars like I need to for work.
One thing that I'm really liking though are the apps. However, what I'd ideally like is an app that helps me quickly add people's names to my to do list, ideally classifying (as a "context", right?) the to do as "phone" task.
For example...I get an email or call on my phone, and the outcome is that I need to call my stockbroker and tell him to cash out my microsoft stock, b/c Bill Gates is about to be indicted on fraud. I'd like to be able to do one of two things:
1) Go to Address Book/Contacts, and from right there, add a task to call him.
2) Go to Things/OmniFocus/whatever, add a task, and select from a list of names in my Address Book.
Is there an app that does that? I have Things and OmniFocus installed, but it doesn't seem that they make it quite that easy. Thoughts?
