So I have been looking at various task/to do apps and I noticed that Todo "syncs" with iCal but it syncs only as tasks (makes sense) but I don't like that because then they don't actually show up on my calendar. It just has the tasks in a list on the side. If I want to make a task like "go shopping","bill due today", or even something like "clean the garage" I would still like to see how these tasks fit into my calendar along side all of my events that I have for that day.

And didn't iOS 4 allow for integration with the iPhone calendar to devs? It would seem pretty logical for task apps to post tasks onto the calendar.

It might be hard to integrate a task calendar into the native iPhone calendar, just thinking that's a possibility cause one developer was saying the native iCal wasn't designed to be easy to sync with.

I know you can get the native iPhone calendar to pull info down from Toodledo, but you can't see overdue or upcoming events easily, cause it only shows the task on the due date.

Pocket Informant and a few other calendar/task apps are the only apps that I know of that are able to show events and tasks well in their own in-app calendar view, but none I've seen sync task info to the native iPhone calendar.
