To open touch home screen

I wonder if theres anyway of getting the iPhone to go to the Digital Clock Display at standby instead of the lock screen. ? RESOLVED

Are you talking about your 8+? What happens when you press the standby or home button once when the screen is dark? Because I am in the lockscreen and see time and date then. Maybe I misunderstood you.

YES Im talking about my iPhone 8+ when I press it again it comes on but goes back off, I want it on permanently if possible
