So... Can we do anything on the lock screen with the notifications?

All the focus was on the 3D Touch... Anyone with a 6 or lower that had tested it?

Apple has said they'll be bringing some currently 3D Touch only iOS 10 features to older devices in later betas.

You can do the usual stuff but there are no rich notifications yet.

Yeah, that's pretty much the gist of it. I own both a 6S Plus and also a few of the older models which I still use fro various things, but I have to say, I was always pretty underwhelmed by 3D Touch anyway. Don't get me wrong, it's nice and all, but I've never felt that it was that major of a feature, and I certainly don't miss it on the models that don't have it.

Just give us the "long press"
This is what I'm expecting, with the one problem I can't figure out how to overcome if a long press is the solution for non "s" users- press and hold on an icon on the home screen, and then what? I would guess you'll get a prompt asking if you want to view widgets based on that app, or delete it, or move it, or cancel.

There's currently a reddit beta app I'm testing and the dev has claimed to have found a way to implement what he calls "2.5D Touch". This is actually brilliant in its own way but also a bit funny because it's kind of like a knock-off that works wonderfully. Basically, to give users without a 6S a 3D Touch experience the dev has made it so when you press down on the screen the app detects your initial contact and later the spread of your finger on the screen to know whether you want to tap or peek. So, when you press harder, your finger spreads through more of the screen, therefor letting the app know you want to peek. I'm sure that Apple has the willpower to easily implement this system-wide, however, it would not be in their best interest as 3D touch is currently the only real feature the 6S has going for it imo.
