mind sharing your pictures?

im looking to sell my imac and replace it with a 24" dell monitor connected to my MBP. i only use the imac for design work and movies so its kind of a waste for me to have seeing as the mpb is a faster computer.

secondly. im gonna be connecting all my usb devices to my mpb via a usb hub under my desk, (to keep things clean) included in that is my external hard drive. is there really that much danger in just unplugging it w/o ejecting it first?

Other than having the e2008 15" MBP, my setup is pretty much the same as what you plan.

Yes, if the drive is active. Not that something bad will happen every time, but how many times is too many?

Just a HP 1750 that I slide open apps onto to keep them handy. Total of 6 USB ports, one of which holds an iMic plugged into a home stereo, and another an Epson AIO.

As brad.c says, don't unplug the external drive when it's active.

Charger, Time Machine harddrive, keyboard, display port and sound. Logitech G5 mouse and iPod plug into the two ports on the Apple keyboard.

No firewire, it's a uMB. haha.

Here is my setup at work. 30" Cinema Display is amazing. saving to get one for home.

I apologize for the mess, and the PC :)

My desk is kinda messy, but you have an impression of my setup: left my MacBook with Adium contacts list, normally Mail and iTunes (when pressed on the green bullet) too. Then on my 20" widescreen all main applications (Safari, iTunes if I have to choose a song, composing mails, ...)
