To Those Who Have Used Both: Heat, Graininess, the Gap?

So, comparing the SR MBP and the old Merom C2D MBP...

1. How hot is the SR versus the Merom? I wonder how hot that new 8600M gets...
2. How loud is the new SR versus the Merom? Has the fan noise changed?
3. How is the infamous "Grain" doing with the new LED displays?
4. How is the "gap" between the display and casing when the display is closed? On the Merom the gap was pretty uneven. I'd just like it to be even all the way around.
5. Has wireless range increased?
6. Is the iSight camera as grainy as before?
