Hi,
I need professional help. I will trigger or control the parallel port in C under mac os x. In Linux it's not so difficult, but in mac it is. How could I set or clear pins?

1. If you want professional help, then surely you are going to pay professional prices? £350 a day is about the cheapest you could get.

2. i know you can control a port by using SetPort and using QuickDraw to draw into it, but maybe you should have a look at Quartz instead.

3. I've never heard of a parallel port. Can you show me any Macintosh that has a parallel port?

There are USB to parallel adapter cables that come with many printers, but yeah, I don't think there's ever been a Mac made with a parallel port on it, and for that reason finding an API for it is not going to be easy, if it's even possible.
