I searched for a thread like this, and came up with nothing. So if I am repeating, sorry.

So I have read about the 4.0 update, all seems good, other than the fact that I have a 3g so no multitasking. But, my phone is jailbroken. Do you guys think that the update is "big" enough or important enough to lose my jailbreak? Is there any way I can keep my apps that I currently have if I choose to update. And with the new update with my 3g, can I answer text messages in apps even though I won't have multitasking? Thanks!

Nobody knows til it's released this June/July.
Hopefully there will be a JB for you tweakers available shortly after release, then you can have multitasking.

Speculation about the in-app SMS is that you will be able to send app suggestions to people from withing the app, instead of email like they have now.
Although, if it's like the way the in-app email is setup now, you can just take out the app suggestion info and put in whatever you want.

I am okay with losing the jailbreak, i dont really use it anymore anyway, its just I want to keep my apps that I have. But I know that the beta was released, i just dont know if it is good enough for me to lose the jailbreak.

I'd go to an AT&T or Apple store as soon as the software update is live and spend some time with it. Peoples opinions on this topic are all subjective based on individual personalities.
