I have just bought Toast 20 pro with the Blue Ray tool.I could not get it to instal on Venture Toast has come across a problem and has to close.I tried it on Big sur i got it installed on there.I only bought the pro version because i was under the impression i would be able play Blu Ray disks i own .Is it the case you can only burn Blu ray disks on there and not play them on here?.It seems daft ro me that you can record disks on there but not be able to play them on a Mac.I do have a Blu Ray player by the way.If i had known it could not play my Blue Ray disks on here i would have bought the basic version. All so it sometime to play a normal DVD with the bouncing ball.I had prevulrsly had Toast 17 which worked fine.

Not really, to play Blu-Ray discs Roxio would need a licence to decrypt the protection on the discs which would cost them money. (They could pass that on to the consumer but who knows how economical that would be).

If you want to play Blu's, the libraries that MakeMKV uses to rip discs can also be used by VLC to play them.

I have got a refund and put Toast 17 back on there .it is a lot better than Toast 20:).I have got the free app to play Blu Ray on a Mac.:)I have no need to rip Blu Rays just to play the Blu rays i own.:)Bearing in mind how much Toast 20 pro costs it should come with a Blue Ray player.Just glad i got a refund.plus the fact it would not install on Venture
