I just got Toast 7 and tried to convert an .avi to a DVD. I selected the DivX button, dragged in the file and it encoded it to a DVD. However, when I tried to play it in my DVD player, it said the disc was not recognized. Is there something I did wrong?
Thanks.

This is covered in the section of the user guide called "Creating a DVD" in the Video chapter. Did you read that?

it is helpful if the person has the manual and hasn't pirated the software.

it's explained very clearly how to turn a divx file into a dvd.

just because the guy asked a question that may or may be easily explained in a manual doesnt mean he pirated the software. i paid for adobe cs and i have a manual that i never read because i have already read war and peace once and i dont want to again. if i have a question i usually post here to get a quick and easy answer without spending the next three days reading to find it, chill out...

Yeah, that's a pretty big accusation to make. This is a forum where people should be able to come and ask questions without feeling foolish, or having their motives attacked.......
