I have Toast 6 Titanium.
I can't burn CDs, I put the cd in my Mac and a blank disc in my burner and when it gets to the point where it says, 'DOA writing line-in...'
it does nothing, I sat and waited 23 mins and still no blue line just
' DOA writing line-in... '.

It used to burn CDs for me, It still burnes files and programs.

Any ideas ??

This happened to me, but with DVDs, with both 6 and 7, I think it's something wrong with my burner. I've tried relaunching finder, sometimes that works, other times trying to force quit will get it going (kind of counter-intuitive). A few times I've ended up doing a hard shut down (hold power button) then option + command + o + f on start up and eject cd to get the damn thing out. Then the next disc I try it works fine. If toast screws up it's always during the writing leadin phase, sometimes the drive whirls up like a concord ready for take off. I have no idea, maybe it has something to do with being an alien abductee ...

...you're not alone...

Like Mikey, I had some trouble burning with Toast 6 in the past few months. Solution that worked remarkably well: I bought Toast 7! What an awesome buy that was!!

At first I thought it was Toast, however after having the same
problem with iTunes I'm now looking at my Burner as the culprit.

I don't understand the problem, it burns everything else.
I'm useing a LG GSA-4163B Super Multi DVD RW
